Accepted Payment Methods

We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, Afterpay, Zippay or Klarna.

Currencies

We cater to the following currencies; AUD, USD, GBP and EURO.

Import and Duties Fees

All orders* ship with their import and duties pre-paid by Cleopatra's Bling.

After checking out, you will have nothing more to pay.

*In the USA this applies on orders up to $1000 USD value. For orders over this amount use an online duties calculator to check import fees and charges levied by the US government.

Credit Card Safety

All transactions placed through the Cleopatra's Bling online store are processed through Stripe.

This system ensures fraud protection measures are maintained. Cardholder data is secure and encrypted for buyer security.

Orders

Order Confirmation

After placing an order, you'll receive an email confirmation.

Your order is confirmed once payment is received and items are ready for dispatch, followed by a shipment notification.

Changes After Payment

You are welcome to email us to request a change to your order up to 24 hours after making payment.

Changes cannot be guaranteed, however our team will do our utmost to fulfil your request.

Change requests cannot be accepted under any circumstances if more than 24 hours has passed since your order was placed.

Lost Package

If your package has been lost in transit, please reach out to us right away.

After an order has been delivered to the correct shipping address, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Damaged in Transit

Order damaged in transit? Oh no! Contact us right away with a photo and your order number.

Exchange of Style or Size

Exchanges are possible when the item is in as-new, unworn condition with its original packaging.

The customer is responsible for all exchange costs, including shipping both ways.

All orders of sale items, using a discount code, or of custom, made to order items are final and cannot be exchanged or returned.

Returns of Discounted & Bespoke Items

All items

cannot be returned for refund or credit, or exchanged for a different size, colour, or style.

We understand that buying Final Sale items can be tricky, so if you have any questions about sizing or fit, please reach out to us before placing your order.

Sale Dates

We understand it can be frustrating to buy an item that later goes on sale. However, we can only apply discounts to orders placed during the sale period and cannot retroactively adjust prices or extend sales for individual clients.

Ateliers Locations

Olivia handcrafts all designs in wax in her home studio in Melbourne, where she lives.

All bespoke pieces are made in Florence, Italy; Istanbul, Turkey; Jaipur, India; or Melbourne, Australia.

All pieces from the main collection are made with a small team in Bali, Indonesia.

Ethical Crafting

We are proud to say that all our products are made with the happiness and safety of our team in mind.

We are uncompromising in our commitment to nurturing long-term relationships with suppliers who treat their workers fairly.

We know each artisan on a personal level, whether Bettina in Istanbul who liaises with our Grand Bazaar artisans, Ram in Jaipur who hand-pours our enamel, or Suci in Bali who emails us updates.

The materials we work with are both environmentally and socially conscious, whether they be recycled gold and silver, or gems sourced from suppliers who are able to trace them directly back to their source.

Sold Out Items

Because our pieces are made individually and often with limited stones or materials, not all pieces can be re-made in exactly the same way.

Click on Notify Me When Available on the product page to have the best chance of securing your desired piece if and when it returns.

In urgent cases, drop us a line, and we'll let you know if it's returning.

Gemstone Variations

We use natural, untreated, ethically-sourced gemstones in our designs.

Like anything in nature, variations in colour between stones of the same type–even between two editions of one product–are to be expected.

We choose stones of this type because of their natural variations which we believe gives them beauty.

Sensitive Skin

Details regarding the materials with which Cleopatra's Bling jewels are made can be found in the below FAQ.

Cleopatra's Bling cannot be held responsible for allergic reactions to our pieces, so please check the materials carefully before purchasing.

If you have sensitive skin, sterling silver, Vermeil, and solid gold are all excellent hypoallergenic options that suit most skin types. Our sterling silver and solid gold jewellery is hallmarked for your peace of mind.

Detailed Material Information

Gold-plating is delicate by nature, and it is normal for it to wear over time. Items that have experienced wearing can often be replated for a small fee. Contact us for more information.

Gold-plating is an excellent choice for a customer looking for a accessibly priced item not intended for intensive, daily wear. Customers looking for an option for everyday wear should consider vermeil, sterling silver, or solid gold as an alternative to gold-plating, particularly for items that come into frequent, close contact with the skin.

QUICK GUIDE

Sterling Silver - Our most cost effective option; does not experience wearing; hypo-allergenic. All our silver is recycled. Can be worn in water, except in thermal baths containing nature minerals such as sulfur.

Dry off after contact with moisture. Clean with silver polish or a baking soda bath, taking care to avoid gemstones.

Gold-plating - The most affordably-priced golden jewels from our range. Perfect for your first piece, that you intend to wear a few times a week, rather than every day. Plated over lead-and-nickel free bronze.

Avoid all moisture. Clean dust with a soft cloth. Depending on gem-setting may be able to be replated to restore lustre.

Vermeil - Up to 3 times thicker gold-plating than standard gold-plating. Plated over sterling silver so it's hypoallergenic. Keeps its "as new" look for years, and suitable for wearing every day.

Avoid all moisture. Clean dust with a soft cloth. Depending on gem-setting may be able to be replated to restore lustre.

Solid Gold - A lifelong piece, that can be an heirloom. Our most durable option.

18k gold is least likely to experience any tarnishing, while 9k and 14k gold can - on rare occasions - react to excessive moisture or the pH of the wearer's skin. This is not considered a fault of the product.

Solid Gold Pendants and Chains

Solid Gold pendants come with a 18K Gold Plated chain included.

If you wish to upgrade to a Solid Gold chain, please add one to your cart, here. Design details of chain may vary very slightly, due to the artisanal nature of our production.

Note: upgrading to a Solid Gold chain will replace the 18K Gold-Plated chain on your order.

Bespoke

Personalised Consultations

Available for appointments in person in Melbourne, or when travelling abroad, Olivia Cummings, designer of Cleopatra's Bling, meets with clients to establish a creative outlook for each special commission.

If unable to meet in person, bespoke pieces can be created via remote communications. To schedule a one-on-one appointment, fill out this form.

Turnaround Time

Made to Order pieces are handmade in Istanbul or Florence when your order is received.

Given our strong attention to craftsmanship and quality, these pieces take approximately 4-6 weeks to ship from date of payment.

A notification of shipment will be delivered to your email account once dispatched.

In the case you require a faster turnaround time, please contact us via email prior to placing your order to ensure we can meet your needs.

Cancellation

Each Fine, made-to-order piece is a unique creation, crafted specifically for you based on your design preferences and our consultation.

Change requests or cancellations must be made within 24 hours of placing your order. After 24 hours, no further changes or refunds are possible, as production is deemed to have commenced.

Refunds are only applicable if there is a major fault with the piece as outlined by Australian Consumer Law (e.g., a defect that would have prevented the purchase, the item is unsafe, or the final product significantly differs from the agreed-upon design).

Authenticity

Authentic Cleopatra's Bling products are available on our website, our Melbourne boutique, and at our stockists locations here. Our pieces are stamped with our company seal.

Anti-Counterfeiting Measures

As one cohesive unit, in tandem with our legal team, we participate in numerous enforcements such as taking legal actions against perpetrators through the takedown of the counterfeit websites. 

Data Storage

At Cleopatra's Bling we will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone outside of our organisation and contracted service providers.

Information submitted to us is used to tend to your requests and help you to find items that you are looking for.

Data we gather with your permission is used to learn more about customers so Cleopatra's Bling can better serve you in the future. If changes to this privacy policy are made they will be posted here promptly.

Demi-Fine

Demi-Fine orders are dispatched twice a week from Melbourne via DHL at a flat rate of AU$10. Orders may also be picked up from our Johnston St location if this option is selected at checkout.

Fine

Solid gold and custom orders ship from Istanbul or Australia, with the same shipping times after a 4-6 week crafting period. Shipping cost will be calculated at checkout.

If your order contains a mixture of Fine and Demi-Fine, the whole order will be shipped once completed. If you wish to expedite the shipping of your Demi-Fine items, please contact us.

Note

We do not ship on weekends or public holidays.

Transit Time

Domestic orders arrive in 1–4 business days for metropolitan areas and 3–5 business days for rural areas. For very remote areas outside DHL's coverage, the last leg of the journey may be handed to Australia Post.

Tracking information will be emailed, and DHL may contact you by phone if needed.

International

Demi-Fine

Demi-Fine orders are dispatched twice a week from Melbourne via DHL. International delivery costs vary depending on region and will be calculated at checkout.

Fine

Solid gold and custom orders ship from Istanbul or Australia, with the same shipping times after a 4-6 week crafting period.

If your order contains a mixture of Fine and Demi-Fine, the whole order will be shipped once completed. If you wish to expedite the shipping of your Demi-Fine items, please contact us.

Note

We do not ship on weekends or Australian public holidays.

Package Protection

We offer Route Package Protection as an optional add on. If a package is lost, damaged, or stolen, you get an instant resolution either through a replacement order or a refund paid for by Route.

Carbon Offsetting

We have partnered with Route Package Protection to offer customers the ability to carbon offset the shipping on all orders.

Returns
Return Policy

Exchanges are possible when the item is in

Wear and tear over time is normal & not considered a fault.

Faulty Items

If you receive a faulty item, contact our Customer Service team to arrange return via post for assessment.

If it's deemed to have a manufacturing fault, we'll repair, replace, or refund it. Return postage for items with manufacturing faults is covered by Cleopatra’s Bling up to the original shipping amount paid.

Use your local postal service for return to keep costs within the original shipping amount.

Follow recommended care instructions sent with each order. Items damaged due to wear and tear or mistreatment won't be eligible for replacement or refund.

Exclusion

Any bespoke or custom pieces are final sale, and cannot be returned for exchange or credit (solid gold and made to order sterling silver pieces are custom and therefore completely excluded from return).

All pieces on sale or to which any discount code has been applied cannot be returned for exchange or credit.

Earrings that have been tried on cannot be returns for reasons of hygiene.

Cleopatra’s Bling reserves the right to deny a return if it does not meet our returns policy.

In the event that a return is received, which, upon inspection, does not meet our requirements, we will return the item to the customer at the customer’s expense.
